But unlike match.com where you search for profiles based on appearance, hobbies and tastes, matchaffinity.com profiles are matched from a psychometric test which includes around one hundred questions designed to explore your personality across 71 different psychological criteria, including your fundamental values, and your views on areas such as life, love, family and money.
The matchaffinity.com singles dating site managed very well during our tests. Only really being let down by their lack of mobile support, although their site is still mobile friendly if you have an iPhone, Android or another smartphone with a high display resolution.

As we have mentioned before, women more often than men will not display a profile photo, however most are happy to provide one if you ask nicely.

matchaffinity.com is not as feature loaded as other dating sites, they appear to prefer to keep things simple. If you like somebody you can add them to your favourites and also send them a message. There is also a fans page where you can view who has added you to their favourites and you can check who has been viewing your profile. One extra option that matchaffinity.com provides that we've not seen available on other sites is video and telephone coaching, this is aimed to increase your confidence and give you the best possible chance of finding a partner online, a very nice and helpful addition.

We were a little disappointed that matchaffinity.com does not offer a one month subscription, and you must pay for a minimum of three months at a cost of £74.70. Six months will set you back £89.40 and save you 40% while a twelve month subscription can be had for £118.80.
By no means cheap, but this does deter the children, making Match Affinity a good place to meet adults and people with a little more money in their pockets.
Creating a Profile on matchaffinity.com
Registering for matchaffinity.com requires completion of the affinity test. On their website they say 45 minutes is required, we finished it in 30. We answered honestly and thoroughly since your answers cannot be modified once your test has been completed. The questions themselves are not too challenging, you shouldn't really be breaking into a sweat here. The answers you give will also allow matchaffinity.com to suggest the closest matches that are suitable for you.

With matchaffinity.com you have full control over the search with an advanced search option. Here you can narrow down your search by entering criteria such as religion, nationality, education, income, appearance and character. But don’t be too picky, you could be excluding some amazing profiles! In the search results you will also see the compatibility score which ranges from 0 to 100% and helps match you with singles who are more like you.

matchaffinity.com take fake profiles very seriously, during the two weeks that we evaluated the site we failed to come across a single fake profile, a big thumbs up to them here. However please do be careful of any profiles or messages that sound too good to be true, or generic messages from people who have clearly not read a single word of your profile. Cancelling your Subscription & Deleting your matchaffinity.com Profile
Always cancel the subscription first before deleting your profile. What is quite disappointing on matchaffinity.com is that there is no possibility to cancel your subscription through your online account settings. The only possibility is by telephone on 0800 358 0847 (calls free from a UK land line, call costs from mobiles or other locations may vary).
Once you have cancelled your subscription you can then delete your profile from your ‘My account’ page, which can be reached via the main menu on the left-hand side of any page when you are logged into matchaffinity.com. You’ll find the link to delete your profile at the bottom of the page, highlighted by the red arrow in the image below.

The concept of using a psychometric test to explore your personality and create the best possible matches is very similar to the one used very successfully by eHarmony, and if Match Affinity can achieve just a little of the success that eHarmony has had with this model, then that really is good news for singles in the UK searching for love.
